  • In Telangana the Civil Supplies Department has procured a total of 45 lakh metric tons -LMT of paddy till Wednesday during 2016-17 including 17 LMT in Kharif and 28 LMT in Rabi season. In the coming 20 days, the department would procure about 10 to 15 LMT more paddy, Civil Supplies Commissioner CV Anand said.
