International Film Festival of India (IFFI)

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is a major film event being organised by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting every year in Goa. Started in 1952, IFFI has evolved into a major forum for cinema from across the world.
The IFFI has become a landmark destination for established and young film makers and directors from every continent. It provides an ideal opportunity for film makers and film lovers to watch, appreciate and learn the art of film making. Through its Cinema Of The World and Competition Section, IFFI showcases the best film produced in the world as well as encourages best talent.
The IFFI also showcases the rich and diverse heritage of Indian tradition of film making through its Indian Panorama Section. Indian Panorama is a platform for the National filmmakers from all regions and languages. Films are chosen in this section for their thematic and aesthetic excellence and are also sent to festivals abroad.
Another attraction of IFFI is Film Bazaar organised by NFDC, is a converging point of buyers and sellers of film rights from all over the world. The unique concept of Film Bazaar provides a platform for film commerce and business.
